Continuing my spiritual journey

In my elder years, I find that the stress from jobs and just living all these years has not released, even though there’s no particular dressers left other than in my head.  Stressor is gone, but default mode network continues to operate at full strength 24 seven I f.   I have found meditation to be helpful, but it’s a slow process and I’m hoping that by association with COTM are we able to communicate with other like-minded people and receive both spiritual and physical advice and learnings which will help in my final years.

I have had a wonderful experience at Meadows medical in Portland with the help of Michael Kelly and Nina.  That was about a week ago, and I feel greatly changed in terms of ability to cope with situations that would have really set me off on a high grade previously, I’m able to shrug off or at least handle now. I’ve also been able to stop consuming alcohol after many years of indulgence.

I hope to continue this journey and even explore new connections to Other people and into the universe itself, which is why I have joined church of the mushroom and very excited to participate
